Job Summary:
We are seeking skilled and experienced Electrical Technicians to join our team for the maintenance outage at Barakah Nuclear Power Plant. The successful candidates will perform electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities, ensuring compliance with safety procedures, industry standards, and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance, inspection, and repair of electrical systems, components, and equipment.
- Work on systems such as motors, switchgear, circuit breakers, transformers, UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply), temporary power systems, protection relays, IPB (Isolated Phase Bus Duct), batteries, excitation systems/rectifiers, and inverters.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently and effectively.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures, plant regulations, and industry standards.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to ensure seamless coordination and timely task execution.
- Conduct routine testing and inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of work performed.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and personal protective gear.
- Adhere to work schedules and timelines, ensuring tasks are completed within designated timeframes.
Requirements:
- Total Technical Experience: 10+ years in electrical maintenance in industrial settings.
- Hands-on experience in the following areas is required:
- Motors
- Switchgear and Circuit Breakers
- Transformers
- UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply)
- Temporary Power Systems
- Protection Relays
- IPB (Isolated Phase Bus Duct)
- Batteries
- Excitation Systems/Rectifiers
- Inverters
- Prior experience working in a nuclear power plant or other high-risk industrial facilities is highly preferred.
- Solid understanding of electrical systems, maintenance practices, and safety standards.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, schematics, and manuals.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
